Dylan's Story
Dylan is diabetic and on Dec 14, 2009 had complications from a cold and experienced many strokes on his brain stem. Dylan was in a coma for many weeks and is now in rehab. Read the entries below to keep up to date with his progress

Today Dyl moves to Healthsouth!! We had a meeting with the doctors/nurses/med staff yesterday and got the low down on Dyl's progress. they said he's going to have a long road to recovery, but they think he's doing great onthe progress so far! He is going to be doing p.t., o.t and speech therapy 3 times a day at rehab. They can do so much to help him out over there. The dr's still aren't sure about where he will end up recovery wise. He is considered out of the coma (for 2 weeks now!) We just found out that info yesterday too. He is in a Rancho Level 2/3 which is progress!! We are continuing to look into the hyperbaric therapy for him. Thank you to all the wonderful staff at TMC!! Pls cont to keep Dyl in your thoughts & prayers. :) - Keri
